The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
